Skill-based volunteering
Professional talent put to work — mentoring, Digital Sakhi training, strategy advice.

Overview
Skill-based volunteering asks employees to contribute what they are professionally good at, rather than their physical labour or general time. In practice this has taken the form of one-on-one or group mentoring, delivering training sessions under Aahwahan's Digital Sakhi programme, or sitting with the organisation to advise on strategy and planning matters. It is suited to professionals — from subject specialists to managers — who can offer expertise Aahwahan's own team may not have in-house, applied to a specific, defined piece of work rather than an open-ended commitment.
