Our missions

The upliftment of rural communities is an integral aspect of the universal development essentials that are integral to human progress. So we have teamed with a wide cross-section of people to bring about a transformation in the rural environment — mobilising political will and resources to build the capacity of the rural economy through relevant policies, and delivering services to the rural population.

  • 1

Improving accessibility and presence at all levels of the community

  • 2

    Strengthening relationships at the grassroots

  • 3

    Building partnerships with civil society

  • 4

Promoting a non-partisan attitude and cooperation without discrimination

Interconnected

Socioeconomic growth and the wellbeing of people are so interconnected that it is not feasible to ignore any one of them.

How we work

What a village actually asks for

Decided with the community rather than delivered to it — the programmes below are the ones villages choose most often.

  1. 1

    Water, sanitation & hygiene

Clean water and sanitation infrastructure, with the hygiene awareness that makes it stick — the base every other programme in a village stands on.

  2. 2

    Food on Wheels

Cooked meals carried to those who cannot reach them — the elderly, the displaced, and families in the gap between a crisis and the help that follows it.

  3. 3

    Old age care

Support for elderly people left behind by migration to the cities — company, provisions and a route to healthcare for those with nobody nearby to arrange it.

  4. 4

    Integrated agriculture

Revenue generation through integrated farming — improving productivity and farmer income with technology adoption and rural extension services delivered in the field.
