Free education for the poor
Free education for children from underprivileged families, taken care of continuously up to 10th standard.
Overview
Free education for the poor is Aahwahan's direct sponsorship programme for children from underprivileged families who would otherwise be unable to afford schooling. It exists to bridge the gap between privileged and underprivileged children, starting with awareness programmes in communities to identify children in need before any support is actually put in place. Around 37 children are currently under the Foundation's educational care, with their schooling supported continuously up to the 10th standard.
