Diabetic Free Village
Screening, prevention and treatment for diabetes, taken village to village.

Overview
Diabetic Free Village is Aahwahan's programme for tackling diabetes in rural communities, where the condition often goes unnoticed until it has already caused lasting damage. It combines screening, early detection, prevention advice, ongoing treatment and regular check-ups, moving from village to village rather than waiting for people to seek out a clinic. It is meant for residents of all ages in villages with little routine access to screening, including those who have never been tested and do not know their risk.
