Government hospital & PHC adoption
Infrastructure upgrades to modernise government hospitals and Primary Health Centres.

Overview
This programme works inside the existing public health system rather than around it, partnering with government hospitals and Primary Health Centres to bring their buildings and basic infrastructure up to a usable standard. Aahwahan has adopted 57-plus facilities in this way and upgraded more than 500 in total, covering everything from wards and waiting areas to sanitation and equipment. It is aimed at the patients and staff who already rely on these government facilities every day, in towns and villages where a PHC is often the only formal healthcare option nearby.
