An automated wheelchair provided through Sapnon Ke Sawari

Overview

Sapnon Ke Sawari, meaning "a ride for dreams," is Aahwahan's programme providing fully automated wheelchairs to people with disabilities and those who are paralysed. It is aimed at individuals whose mobility has been limited by physical disability, illness or accident, and for whom a manual wheelchair alone is not enough to regain real independence in daily life. The programme treats mobility as a basic need tied directly to a person's ability to work, study and take part in their community.
